Reports To: BCI Executive Board

Description: The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) leads all revenue-related operations within BCI, including merchandising, sponsorships, partnerships, and fundraising. This role focuses on developing sustainable strategies that support Bar Citizen events and community growth worldwide. The CRO collaborates with department leads and the Executive Board to ensure transparent, ethical, and community-aligned financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee BCI’s global revenue strategy, including merchandise, sponsorships, and partnerships

• Coordinate with marketing, legal, and event teams to ensure brand and licensing compliance

• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and vendors

• Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting and financial reporting

• Explore new, ethical funding opportunities aligned with BCI’s nonprofit mission

• Report regularly to the Executive Board on revenue performance and forecasts

Qualifications:

• Experience in business development, merchandising, fundraising, or nonprofit management

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online retail operations

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

• Comfortable collaborating across international and volunteer teams
