About the Role
ALL BCI BOARD POSITIONS ARE VOLUNTEER
We're about turning passion into unforgettable experiences. However, bringing fans together across the globe takes more than excitement, it takes smart strategy, steady support, and the resources to make it all happen. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to steward the financial side of our journey. In this role, you’ll oversee everything from merch development and donation channels to our eCommerce and ticketing platforms. You’ll ensure every credit and UEC is accounted for — balancing platform fees, taxes, and expenses — so we can focus on what matters most: building community.
You’ll play a critical role in fueling our ability to:
Keep our infrastructure online and operational (software, services, and hosting)
Offer merchandise and donation options that reflect the spirit of the ‘verse
Champion our charitable efforts and community outreach
Ensure transparency, accuracy, and sustainability in everything we do
This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of purpose, a head for strategy, and a heart for community. You’ll help make sure every gathering—no matter how big or small—has what it needs to succeed.
NOTE: This is a volunteer role requiring a substantial time commitment. Hopefully, as our organization becomes more developed the time commitment will reduce. However, during high-profile events like CitizenCon, Bar CitizenCon Week, or other CIG attended large events the commitment may increase.
Be a proud part of the Bar Citizen® initiative, helping bring Star Citizen® fans together in the real world, one unforgettable gathering at a time.
